For this installation the old index cards of the library which had been replaced by an online catalogue were covered with colorful plastic sheets; only single words and lines were left out in a passe-partout like way. These index cards show words, such as

‘the unanswered questions’
‚Furore‘
’souvenir‘
‚Urne oder Sarg?‘
‚Minima Moralia‘
‚Hyacinthe‘
‚Scaramella‘
’22.Januar1944‘
‚Herzreparaturen‘
‚Trostwort‘
etc.

They stand on little wooden stands and are placed on the shelfs within the library.
There they can be found by the readers of the library as colorful word-islands, memento moris and poetical treasures.
